MixEngine AI collects the following categories of data:

  • Registration data: name, email address, and password (encrypted) provided when creating an account on the cloud platform.
  • Usage data: anonymous information about plugin usage (DAW version, operating system, hardware configuration) to improve compatibility.
  • Payment data: processed through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Technical cookies: required for the web platform to function (session, language preferences).

3. Local Audio Processing

MixEngine AI performs all audio analysis and processing locally on your computer via Ollama. No audio data is ever sent to our servers or third-party cloud services. The AI models operate entirely on your machine, ensuring maximum privacy for your music projects.

4. Purpose and Legal Basis

Your data is processed for: performance of the license agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), legal and tax obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), and legitimate interest to improve the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Marketing communications are sent only with your explicit consent.
